SML Reflection

My topic is drawing animations and putting them all together so I can make a big animation like a skit, I would have different videos so you can choose different paths and see if you get to win or not. I choose this because I have always liked doing these activities and interactive skits on youtube. So far I think it is going a little slow because I think I haven’t got enough time to finish this because for a regular person to do this, it took them months to finish so I think that I can only make a few second video. Before I faced another challenge on how I would draw the animations because I only had my keypad, so I asked my friend if I could use hers and it went well. In the beginning I thought I could make a full animation skit that was a few minutes long but now I think it could only be about 40 seconds long. So far I am proud of my drawing because in the beginning my drawings and artwork was really bad but now that I am basing my drawings off of another drawing (hishe) I think it is going well. I think that I am doing pretty well and I also think that I feel creative when I wrote the script because I wanted the skit to be both funny and serious. A few samples I have of my learning is when I was writing the skit and I felt like I really liked what I was doing and as I was writing the script I could play the animation in my head. I think I learn best when I am with other people because then we could help each other and encourage each other. I also like learning about things that I am interested in and passionate about. I think that SML is built well because when you choose a subject it is usually of your interest which makes you more interested in what you learn and I don’t think that the structure is frustrating because it gives you a reasonable amount of time and you just have to choose a subject that uses a good amount of time.

Game Design #1

– Photo of your paper sketch (even if you are in a group, you all must publish your sketches)

– What is your game about?

In this game you are suppose to find all the Anarchy sign’s through the backgrounds through all the rooms, these rooms have backgrounds of all my favorite TV shows and the Anarchy signed would be blending in with the background. In the last stage it is the Victory room and that is where you give all the Anarchy signs, if you don’t give them all in then you wouldn’t win.

– Who is the audience?

People who likes to find things in hard places or wants to find new TV shows, or people who likes games like Hide and Seek.

– What is the objective of the game?

The objective of the game is to find all the Anarchy signs and if you don’t get all of the signs but press the Check button then you would get a mean comment about your observation skills. If you do win then you get a comment about how you are very good at finding things.

Blog | Website Design

Describe why?

I chose this topic because I really like this Tv show and I feel like I could talk about it forever. I have so much information about this topic and I really want to type it out and show people, that I know about this topic a lot, and I also really enjoyed constructing a website to my liking because then I know that I could change anything if I don’t like it because then when I see something I like on another website I can change it.

What you used

I used HTML 5 UP and I used images from google images. I used the research from CSS School because everything from that website is very useful. I also used images for my characters page. I also used colour picker because it if very useful and you could chose any colour and you can add a dark shade or make it brighter.

Problems you faced

While trying to fix the colour of the padding I changed something and I broke my website, I tried to revert it but it said there was a problem. I looked at my CSS Main and I saw that there was the words !Important, that was because I forgot to close the {  and I realised the problem. I then had the problem of not being able to change the padding and the colour of the box inside. I messed around trying to fix it using Inspect Element and then something happened. I copied the CSS code from inspect element to my HTML and it came up with Style= I tried that and it worked.

How to improve

I think I can improve if I can use different techniques and different tricks to make it seem more modernised. I think that the website has some problems with the padding size and the text size because sometimes the padding pops out of the box its in and my first copyright name is sort of messed up because it is suppose to be independently by itself but it is in a padding box with colour.
