Many students all over the world are over scheduled with after school activities. Everyday, students rush to their after school activities, where they don’t even have time to have a break or at least eat something. The big question: Is over scheduling of activities after school harming students? Some people think that over scheduling fills the students with so much knowledge they could go to the best university and get scholarship and all. Those people think that over scheduling can improve the future for the students. On the other hand, other people think that over scheduling of activities after school is harming people because they over load the students’ brain, which is like, exploding a container past it’s limit. Personally, in my opinion, I side with the people that say over scheduling is harming students. Over scheduling is harming students because they don’t have time to sit back and think, or reflect on themselves, they lose their spirit, and their own feelings get trapped inside of them when their bodies are too focused on studying.

Over scheduling is harming students because they don’t have time to sit back and think, or reflect on themselves. They’re missing the time to actually enjoy life and appreciate the world that was given to them. When a student is over scheduled, all they focus is education. Every minute of their childhood life would probably be spent on studying or sleeping, especially as you approach college. Over scheduling harms even more as the student arrives at the stage of the teenagers. Teenagers tend to always ask themselves a question that confuses them: Who am I? If a teenager student is over scheduled, then they won’t have time to actually answer the question they’ve been pondering on about. They’ll miss the fun of life, and sometimes, you can see in the newspaper that some teenagers just want to end their life because they’re so stressed with over scheduling. Over scheduling is a way to take out the time that should have been spent on their love life, their personal thoughts life, their social life. Without those facts of love, personality, and socialisation, a student could no longer find interest in living. That’s why over scheduling is harming students, both physically and mentally.

Over scheduling is harming students because they lose their spirit. Adding on from the previous paragraph, over scheduling takes away the meaning of life. Over scheduling causes stress, and stress is a very unhealthy thing for everyone. People tend to do crazy things when they’re stressed, or they simply like to give up. Some books say that the gift of humans is their feelings. Over scheduling is a way of throwing that gift into the trash. Even if other things, like love or intelligence, can be the gift of humans, feelings, or personality can rule out those. A life includes the love life, the social life, the personal life, the family life and many more. A person’s life is composed out of many different kinds of life (ie. love life, social life, personal life etc). Each of these includes how you feel, whether it’s happiness, sadness, anger, pain, revengeful. The personality of a person makes them different from anyone else in this world. If you wipe all those feelings out, you’re simply becoming a very smart robot. And all those knowledge skills would be wasted in the future when you want to find a job, because companies won’t want robots without feelings. What makes a person, or a boss, happy is that their employees are cheerful and enjoying their job, as well as doing their work correctly. So without character or personality, intelligence wouldn’t find you much jobs. Therefore, over scheduling is harmful.

Over scheduling is harming students because as they are loaded with informational facts, their own feelings get trapped inside of them when their bodies are too focused on studying and getting good grades.Their trapped feelings accumulate until one day, they can’t hold it back anymore and the feelings explode out all together, probably released on some poor friend who happened to be at the wrong spot at the wrong time. This explosion of feelings might cause damage to either the student’s social life or the student’s health. Elaborating, the thing that causes the feelings to accumulate is actually stress. Stress, as mentioned above, is a very harmful thing to anyone. Once you stumble upon stress, it’s rather hard to get rid of. Many physiologists have found ways to get rid of stress, including relaxing, exercising, talking to another person and so on. All these solutions to stress include the things you don’t do while you’re over scheduled. Sure, if you get over with over scheduling, it could grant you many helpful skills in life you would be grateful for being over scheduled. But only few, say perhaps one out of every ten, could get over with over scheduling. That means most people will just take away harm from over scheduling, instead of taking helpful life skills. Consequently, over scheduling is harmful.

You’ve come to three main reasons why over scheduling is harmful. Over scheduling is harming students because they don’t have time to sit back and think, or reflect on themselves. It’s harming students because they lose their spirit, and it accumulates trapped feelings which lead to bitter stress. Sometimes, ┬áthe stress that comes from over scheduling can drive a student to their limits, until they can’t hold back the stress and they find no more interest in living. Not many students can handle over scheduling, and those who do gain from over scheduling. Those who can’t handle over scheduling would end up having a ruined childhood, and one person can only live one childhood. As many might know, the childhood predicts and shapes the future of the student. If a childhood is destroyed by over scheduling, it would affect the entire life of the student. As a result, over scheduling of activities after school is harming students
