Paint Chip Poem

Here’s my paint chip poem:

Indian Maize is the color of the sand in the afternoon just after 1 o’clock

I remember the sand being swooshed in my empty fish’n’chips box as we sprint to start our game of beach rugby

And how it felt to have my arm being scratched by the wet sand so Ollie could get the ball

I can still hear William shouthing at me to pass to him

I miss the feeling of winning my first Rubgy game

Indian Maize is the color of the sand in the afternoon just after 1 o’clock

Selfie Poem

I am Alexandra but my friends call me Alex,

Or even Al

I am twelve years old and I live in Hong Kong

My hair is the color of golden vanilla Oreo’s,

And my eyes are the color of a milk chocolate Easter egg,

Freshly unwrapped on Easter morning.

I am taller than the stick at Ocean Park,

Disney Land, and Hershey Park.

My best friend is heights,

And I hope to do more with it.

I am Adventurous, fearless,

And up for anything.

I love traveling and spending time with my family.

Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you. (- Dr. Suess)
