The cafeteria is made for students and teachers to buy food, or to eat their home cooked food.
The design is has a pathway through the middle and all the tables and benches pushed to the sides. The cafeteria is an open space with picnic tables.
The cafeteria is on the 5th floor.
It was made so that people can eat food.

Materials: To conserve steel, concrete ramps were used instead of elevators. The outside walls are made of reinforced concrete. The Pentagon was built in “stripped classical” style, this style is often used for government buildings
2. I added coils to my pot to show the sands of time. Normally people refer to the grains of sand in an hour glass. I find that time can go very quickly or very slowly. This can sort of be confusing. Time can be confusing, and this is something that can hypnotize us because we don’t know what can happen in that span of time. I think that a coil really shows the confusing aspect of time.
3. My coil pot is different from my lantern because my lantern has holes in it and is not made to contain anything. Another reason it is different is, because we did not have a theme to build around. With the coil pot we had to make it suit a theme.
4. I could have spent more time on the actual height of the pot rather than the perfection and the shape of the coils.
2. I am cutting through 3/4 of the book in the centre to make a hole. I will then make a sculpture of a human or an alien and put it in the middle.
3. I feel my idea is original because most people are cutting windows into their books to show specific passages in a book. Or they are printing pictures and taping it on.
4. I am making a sculpture out of newspaper or the paper I have cut. I will make a paper mache sculpture.
5. I feel I am trying to make my cuts as tidy as possible. I cut all the holes and now I am trying to make the edges smooth to make it look nice.
6. I feel I am using my time effectively in class.
7. I could make the cuts a little more even.

2.) To make the book, we first got two thicker sheets of paper to make the cover. We then took one of our sheets of paper and glued it onto one of the covers. We then got the other thick sheet and did the same. Then we got all the sheets and folded them to fit inside the cover of the book. After we made holes every 3cm in the spine of the book. We did this by placing nails every 3cm and hammering them down to make a hole in the paper. We then got string and a needle, and sewed the pages in so they wouldn’t fall out. Then finally we started to design the covers and make the book personal.
3.) The purpose of our sketchbook is to write down ideas. We can ‘sketch’ any ideas we have, plan out our projects or even just doodle. I think the sketchbooks are something that we can have as ours and put anything art related in it.
4.) I think the purpose of making a sketchbook rather than just buying one is so that we can feel that this is our sketchbook, and that we created it. It should feel personal.
5.) I am not sure what I would do differently to make this sketchbook. I think that it is created simply, efficiently and timely.
1. What traits did you see in yourself throughout this project?
I saw perseverance, hope and creativity in myself because my project would break a lot. We had to re-attatch and re-glue and re-silicon everything at least 5 times. I saw creativity in myself because there were a lot of bumps that we hit throughout this project but we seemed to overcome them. One of the bumps we came across was how are we going to get the food/liquid to go up into the Large Intestine. We overcame this obstacle by putting a pump to suck up the water.
2. Why is collaboration and teamwork impotent in problem solving?
Collaboration and teamwork are both extremely important when working in a group of other people.Collaboration and teamwork means that you work well with other people. This is important because you can’t get something done with other people unless you work well with them.
3. Which video do you like most why?
I liked the video about the minions because I think that this connects to the PBL unit the most because, like Mr. Bourque said, if your not part of the solution your part of the problem.

1. What compositional rules did you apply? I used the rule of triangles with Isaiah’s top foot and his hand and the floor.
2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs? I am trying to convey a message that, in the photo in looks like Isaiah is being sucked of the ground but he is doing the impossible and holding on the ground and staying. You can do anything if you believe, try your hardest and push yourself to the limit.
3. What do you think are the 3 most important elements in creating the action photograph? (arrangement of objects, foreground vs. background, light and shadow, perspective, proportion etc.) I think the 3 most important elements in creating an action photo are foreground vs. background, perspective and proportion.
