1. What compositional rules did you apply?

In this photo I applied the rule of thirds because Aditya  is in the right third of the photo.

2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs?

I am trying to show a message that says. You have to get over and through the bumps and bad times (the stones) before you can get to the good stuff (the grass)

3. What do you think are the 3 most important elements in creating the action photograph? (arrangement of objects, foreground vs. background, light and shadow, perspective, proportion etc.)

I think that the 3 most important elements in creating an action photo is the foreground vs. background and perspective and proportion.

In this photo I applied the rule of thirds because Ollie is in the left third of the photo

2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs? How did you accomplish this?

I am trying to convey a message that says. We are trapped by our comfort zones (the gate in the background of the photo) but if we try to stretch out and try new things we can get out of our comfort zones and explore and learn more (the mountains in the background)

3. What do you think are the 3 most important elements in creating the portrait photograph? (person’s expression, background, lighting, proportions of frame, etc.)

I think that the 3 most important elements in creating a portrait photo are a persons expression, background and proportions of frame.

In this photo I used the rule of thirds because Kaito is in the right third of the photo.

2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs? How did you accomplish this?

I am trying to convey a message that says, you can see the left corner of the photo there is a bush that is in focus but all the other plants and objects are not in focus. The bush that is in focus are the things that we are comfortable with, but if we try to get the other bushes in focus and become comfortable with other things, we can learn so much more.

I think that the 3 most important elements in creating a portrait photo are a persons expression, background and proportions of frame.

I applied the rule of thirds because Kinson is in the middle third of the photo

2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs? How did you accomplish this?

The message  I am trying to convey is that, you can see a plant that looks like it is sheltering Kinson, these are the things that we know of and think is reality, but the parts of the photo such as the bush that is not under the big plant is the real world that we don’t bring ourselves to imagine.

I think the 3 most important elements in creating a portrait photo is persons expression proportions of frame and background.

Abstract Photo #1

1. What compositional rules did you apply?

I am showing the rule of thirds in this photo because the leaf is in the right third of the photo.

2. What story/message/mood are you trying to convey through your photographs?

I am trying to show that the black and white is all the world issues and problems and all of the human population is the green leaf. If you look at the right side of the leaf you can see that there is a bit of the black and white rocks that have color, if you look at the left side of the leaf you can see that it is still black and white. The black and white part of the leaf is the people that aren’t trying to make a difference. The colored rocks are the effects that the people who are trying, are making.

I think the 3 most important elements in creating an abstract photo are arrangement of objects, foreground vs. background and proportion.

I applied the rule of horizontal lines because of the line through the middle of the photo.

The message I am trying to convey is that each stage of our lives is equally beautiful.

What is one project you are proud of?
I am proud of my Optical Illusion Letter assessment because I did very well on this. I got all ME and I think it looks good

How have you gained a better understanding of art?

I gained a better understanding of art because we researched a lot of drawings and photos and learned a lot about shading and photography.
