When I first started to brainstorm ideas for these micro fiction stories, I easily came up with topics.
However, a struggle was when I had to learn to convert my writings into a digital format, which I not really used to. I eventually chose to take pictures of slides and compile them onto IMovie, which I found was the easiest way to convey my 4 micro fiction stories in a digital format. During this process, I have learnt that it is important to spend time wisely. I was quickly able to learn how to use IMovie. However, regards to spending my time, I didn’t think that the digital part of this project would take that long. I think that I, next time, when doing a digital assignment, need to know that it takes quite a long time for me to sort out things with especially IMovie.
I believe that I was able to construct and write my stories well. Many of them had inferences. For example, we can take the 100-word story where I don’t mention who my opponent is until the second to last sentence. Some people might not be able to get why I would put Satan as my opponent. But, when they read the next sentence, they can see that the reason why Satan is my ultimate opponent is because this story basically implies that the World has come to an end with the empowerment of Satan.
I think that I was also able to find the good visuals for each of my presentations were good. On top of that, I believe that the music that was included made sense to make the story was trying to convey. I think that the music and the pictures were able to project more of the details in the story. By using the pictures, the audience is able to get a clearly understanding of what is happening. By using the music, the audience is able to understand the mood and how the story would go like.
In conclusion, I think that I need to be careful with my management of assignments when working on a digital project.
