Graphing our Density Data

Now that you have your Density information from our lab using the four different materials you need to do the following:

  1. Create a digital graph of the data
  2. Create a hand written graph of the data

In order to do this follow these directions:

  1. Label the x-axis: Volume in cm3
  2. Label the y-axis: Mass in grams
  3. Choose an appropriate scale for each axis so that the data is spaced nicely and not crowded into a small area
  4. Plot the data that you collected
  5. Draw a line of best fit through the data points
  6. When you construct the lines, use a different color for each substance
  7. Title your graph with something that fits the investigation
