Week of May 18-22
Hi kids!
This week we will learn more games from West Africa. These games come from a country called Ghana, and we learned these songs from our friend, Kofi! You might remember meeting Kofi when you were in R1!
First, you will enjoy learning a song from Ghana about the days of the weeks called “Amesi Wodzi.” We will sing, play, and clap. And when we sing the day of the week that YOU were born on, then it’s YOUR turn to get up and dance!
This is a song called, “Kofi Brayendi,” that is all about inviting a friend to play with you!
Remember the instruments that you will hear in the Bobobo style! Listen for the drum, rattle, and bell.
Make it a Musical May! We would like to share a listening calendar for the whole family. We have selected a family-friendly song for each day of the month. Click below to start listening!
